An island located to the northwest of Montreal, in the borough Ile-Bizard–Sainte-Genevieve, Ile Bizard is a residential neighbourhood with condos and houses, some of which are especially luxurious. The island is in front of Sainte-Geneviève and Pierrefonds. A good part of its area is covered by the Bois-de-l'Ile-Bizard nature park, which has a boardwalk traversing the swampier areas to allow people to observe nature from a closer vantage point. North America's oldest golf club, the Royal Montreal, also takes up a significant area on the island.

Ile-Bizard will interest families wishing to live in a calm and serene environment with magnificent natural landscapes and a view of Riviere-des-Prairies.
