Which extras are worth it?
Description
According to the Appraisal Institute of Canada, the amount invested in the improvement of a property must not exceed 20% of the market value of the units of the same category, at the risk of not recovering the investment.
So what's worth it? In general, here are some things to consider:
-The wood or engineered floor increases the resale value.
-The kitchen is the room that most attracts buyers. It may therefore be wise to replace the base counters with stone, granite or quartz.
-Still in the kitchen, recessed lights can be a good bonus.
- The heated floor in the bathroom is a pleasant surprise for the buyer and a small luxury easy to install.
