Bordered by Highway 40 to the north, L'Acadie Boulevard to the east, the roads to the south of JeanTalon, the neighbourhood is near Outremont, Parc-Extension and Saint Laurent. A well-to-do area, TMR has a large anglophone community. The area will interest high-income families who wish to live in a peaceful and secure area. In this town, 65 % of residents are homeowners ( against 35 % in Montreal!)

Completely designed by the Canadian Northern Railway and built in 1912, the neighbourhood decided to remain an independent city in 2006.
